How Often Should I Change My Water Filter?
This is one of the most common questions we get from customers. While Singapore's tap water is thoroughly compliant with the World Health Organization's (WHO) Guidelines for Drinking-water Quality, water filters will help to remove chlorine, fluoride and harmful contaminants from the tap water, for a cleaner and better tasting drinking water.
Since the filters are meant to collect all the extra impurities and particles that are not supposed to be there, the substances removed from the water start to clog up the filter making it less and less effective with each use.
As such you need to replace your water filter regularly to keep it clean, clear and functioning correctly.
Most filter lifespan is between 6-18 months depending on the quality of water from the pipes and the amount of consumption used.
